San Diego is overflowing with places to go out. There are several
multipurpose venues with schedules for rock, pop and classical
concerts, Broadway shows, ballet troupes, magic shows and much
more. A good source of useful information is the weekly San Diego
Reader, which can be found in most restaurants bars and shops around
the city. The Thursday edition of the San Diego Union Tribune’s
Night & Day section is also very good. There is literally something
here for everyone. It caters for the culture lover, the sports
enthusiast, the quiet drinker, the pop and disco fanatic, the film
buff, the traditionalist and just about every other taste. Before
going out, it is best to check if reservations are needed, dress
code and of course the entrance fee. Take some good identification
with you just in case. The following is just a brief list of some
recommended places to go, but is by no means the definitive guide.
